Next Generation is the 6th grade after-school enrichment program at Hart and Pleasanton Middle Schools, offered through the Pleasanton Unified School District's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program(ELO-P). Supported with funding from the California Department of Education, Next Generation provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can grow academically, socially, and personally beyond the regular school day.
We focus on creating meaningful experiences that complement classroom learning and meet the diverse needs of students. Priority enrollment is given to students with the highest needs, including unhoused, foster youth, economically disadvantaged, and Emerging Bilingual learners.
Program Hours & Schedule
- Next Generation operates after school, following the middle school dismissal schedule through 6pm
- During school breaks and non-student days, the program may operate full-day hours (details provided annually).
