Program Fees & Application Information (For Currently Enrolled PUSD Students)

Due to high demand and convenience to school, most of our Kids Club programs are at full capacity with a substantial waiting list. If your child is currently on the waitlist, rest assured that we will reach out to you as soon as we are able to accommodate additional enrollments. The duration of your wait can differ depending on the specific school site, age and grade of your child. It's important to note that new openings become available primarily when a family currently enrolled in the program leaves or when students transition to middle school.

Some families have been on the waitlist for over three years or more. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to expand the program due to constraints in available space.

Unfortunately we do not give out exact locations on the list as we are required by the California Department of Education to offer care to our high-needs students first. These families include unhoused students, foster care students, economically disadvantaged families, and English Language Learners. Once we offer care to these families then we move onto the list. Our enrollment is continuous so when/if a spot becomes available and we reach your name on the list, we will reach out to you directly.

At this time, we are unable to offer drop In care or hourly care specifically in the mornings or afternoons due to ongoing limitations in staffing and available space.

No, if a student is not at school, regardless of the reason, the student may not attend the program.

There are many programs in the area. We recommend that you talk with other parents in your school community. My Child Care Plan is a resource for parents that can help you find a child care program for your family.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve spots in advance. Many sites in our program have a significant waiting list, and we are unable to hold spaces for future enrollment. We recommend considering your readiness to start and making a decision accordingly.

We understand that school assignments may change and your child may not be assigned to his/her home school. Please keep in mind that if PUSD assigns your child to a school other than our home site, we may not be able to guarantee a spot at that location's Kids Club. However, please rest assured that we will make every effort to accommodate your child. Please let us know of any changes as soon as possible so we can make every effort to find a solution for you.

Absolutely! We are excited to announce our Summer Camp Programs, which are available to all students enrolled in PUSD. Detailed information about program dates and pricing will be released in late Spring. It's important to note that participation in Kids Club during the Summer does not extend into the school year; it's a separate program.

When a family chooses to disenroll from the program, they are required to notify the program in writing at least 2 weeks in advance of the last day of attendance. Failure to give two weeks written notice will result in a bill in the amount of one-half of the monthly fees if applicable for a fee paying family.

No, the registration fee of $150/child will not be refunded.
